Wish Cup tour ends after five years

Directors final statement:

Dear friends, and supporters,

After five years of charitable giving, wish cup soccer festival has run it’s course. We are grateful to the support of our sponsors, volunteers, funders, and past participants.

Wish Cup was inspired by the bravery of children with life-threatening illnesses, and the hope for peace among children and youth living in conflict. We are proud to have supported the causes of the Make A Wish Foundation® BC and YK and the Peace It Together Society® and to have been providers of wishes to children in need.

As soccer players, we are familiar with the bonding power of the world’s most popular sport. Our passion for the game forces us to find commonality and to recognize each other’s humanity. As such, it was the ideal vehicle for fulfilling wishes, and dreams.

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you all for your past support.
